CHIVAS REGAL 12 YEAR OLD James Chivas built his blended Scotch empire on two simple rules: “old, mature stocks and a distinct Speyside accent”. The Chivas Regal 12yr, a benchmark for age statemented blends, still follows this advice. Grain whiskies keep it mellow and balanced, but the use of Speyside malts adds character, building denser flavours of candied orange, hazelnut and butterscotch. Save cheaper blends for mixing and enjoy this one on the rocks. 40% ABV
